1. Acceptance and use
By using PedalPilot, you agree to these Terms of Use. The app may only be used lawfully and safely.
2. Navigation is guidance only
Routes, voice prompts, map suggestions, and points of interest are provided as guidance only. They do not replace road signs, one-way restrictions, closures, private-road restrictions, access rules, or local traffic laws.
3. Third-party data
PedalPilot relies on third-party map, routing, and access data. That data may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Because of this, a route may occasionally be unsuitable, inaccurate, unavailable, or legally restricted.
4. Rider responsibility
You remain responsible at all times for checking whether a street, access road, one-way section, closure, or route is actually legal and safe for cycling. If a suggested route appears unsafe or unlawful, do not follow it.
5. Reports and corrections
Hazard reminders are stored only on this device for seven days. They are not sent to PedalPilot or other riders and do not trigger route corrections.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PedalPilot is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
7. E-scooters and local rules
E-scooter laws differ by country, region, and city. You are responsible for checking and following all local rules, including where riding is allowed and any speed, motor-power, equipment, age, helmet, insurance, registration, or licence requirements. Choosing the e-scooter profile does not confirm that your vehicle or a suggested route is legal.
8. Local law prevails
If you use the app in a particular country, mandatory local laws and traffic rules also apply. Where these terms conflict with mandatory law, that mandatory law prevails.
